Last week we were talking about freecall ,Actionvoip, inter voip etc blocked in UAE.
Now I am introducing smartvoip , a very cheap voip provider for making calls to India.we can say now its the cheapest Phone call rate to India
Smart VOIP is a betamax creation and now they are offering calls to India at 0.005 eurocents making it the lowest VOIP call to India even cheaper than actionvoip. If you not considering few cents its free phone calls to India.
The new rates are effective immediately so if you already making calls with smartVOIP, you should have noticed the rate change.
Apart from this low voip rate Smart VOIP also gives SIP support that means you can make use of SmartVOIP over SIP Phone or any supported SIP tool.
You can use following SIP settings for smartvoip:
SIP port : 5060
Registrar : sip.smartvoip.com
Proxy server : sip.smartvoip.com
Outbound proxy server : leave empty
Account name : your SmartVoip username
Password : your SmartVoip password
Display name/number : your SmartVoip username or voipnumber
Stunserver (option) : stun.smartvoip.com
I haven’t tried to use this cheap voip. But the people who used smartvoip has a good opinion about the voice quality.

DO NOT go with smartvoip, it is right that to call to india cost was just 0.007 US cent per minute about a week ago, BUT they change the rates twice in a week from 0.007 to 0.010 & 0.018. So smartvoip is NO MORE cheaper. Better to go with airtelcallindia.com they charges are 0.010 STEDY for india.

hi guys I am using smart voip at a 0.005 cent / min. not as you mentioned as 0.018. but they informed that there is a 87 days free period after that it would be regular call rates.
so please inform me what is this.

Hey all ,
I cant understand….why this betamax is pain in ass…i have money in freecall, smartvoip…but cant place call…even phone to phone….its showing call ended unknow error…many of my friend experiencing same….they cant provide service but very good in charing money….why do the allow to buy credit….if it is not useful….they were giving same problem last year for 5 month…be ware…dump this betamax…
