   etisalat is very serious regarding this issue now, As they are loosing lot of income when ppl use voip. Heard a lot of news about it!
   Be careful while using vpn as well

   anybody can pls tell me about the actions taken by the etisalat against the voip users. i got a mail that etisalat is charging 10000dhs as fine for using voip services like freecall, voipwise etc… I heard that they are using GPS to find the location of the user and they are arrested by police. I tried to search in gulf news but i did not get any news about it. i dont know whether it is romour or not. anybody can confirm it???? expecting your reply, which will help all of us to know the fact.

   Jatt ji, use a vpn service like hotspotshield and openvpn. once u install it..u will be able to login to ur account and the voice clarity is also satisfactory. I am in the same boat as@GF waiting for call..

    The following is looks like a good solution for Skype lovers. Even though it might be termed as illegal but it seems to be a great way to get connected and bypass government regulations.

    Living in Dubai and not able to use skype ? Don’t be depressed as a company called HeyU is trying to help you out. We are already aware that etisalat has blocked Skype so you can neither download Skype or upgrade to newer versions or add credits. It’s difficult to bypass etisalat’s blocks but HeyU claims to have achieved this.

    HeyU does not have its own website but one can get their email address from Mathaba.net which is a UK based website. It hails itself as an Asian group. On the other hand etisalat is harping on the fact that Skype is not permitted and has termed this activity as illegal.

    Three options are being offered by HeyU. The first option is meant for non Skype users. This service costs $25 and one could download Skype through a non blocked download link.

    The second option is available for $38 and one is sent to a secure website which can be accessed for a period of three months. You can access Skype and other blocked site through this website. What else you could also purchase SkypeOut credit for making calls on landline.

    Well i found a solution at http://hotfixes.edibra.com/?p=199 they offer free VPN and guides how to set it up on xp and vista. The reason why i liked it its becouse there is no need to download any shity software they show you ads, simply configure your xp connection with this vpn and you can start calling. I hope this will help the post author

    Let’s face the truth guys, This country don’t like anything is used against them.
