etisalat is ready with the required infrastructure to introduce VoIP services in the UAE as soon as the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) grants the necessary permission. The leading UAE newspaper Khaleej Times got this information by email from the authority. On the VoIP services to be provided in the UAE, the spokesman said the service provider requires more information on the VoIP policy itself, which will be laid out by the TRA. Currently voip service blocked in UAE so the residents can not make use of the cheap phone call service by using voip in UAE. By the permission of using VOIP service there will be drastic demand for the voip service providers product like Skype,freecall,Actionvoip etc in UAE
